Social "oops" and the Beatles

Hi All

They say ignorance is bliss, but sometimes it can yield some rather surprising results!

Yesterday at the office, I had an interesting dialogue with one of my coworkers.

Him - "Hey Patrick, what's your favorite Beatles song?"

Me(my mind draws a complete blank). "I really don't know that many Beatles songs to be quite honest"

Him - "Well what about Yesterday?

Me - "Well, yesterday, I still didn't know that many Beatles' songs"

After that, he had hysterics! Evidently, what I said was the funniest thing he has ever heard, so he tells the boss man, who guffaws heartily!

Moral,-- well, the moral of the story is uh......maybe....."this sort of thing is going to happen anyway, so get used to it?"

LOL so today and Yesterday you still dont know that many Beatles song I think is the Moral of the story.

Patrick. I love you man. You're still one of my very favorite people at work. For all the good reasons. :) This... is a classic. I will be retelling this as "Yesterday" is on my top five favorite Beatles songs. ("Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "A Little Help From My Friends," "Yesterday," "Blackbird.")
